Tracey Hawkins

Tracey Hawkins began her career as an Air Force personnel officer for 8 years before becoming a human resources generalist/manager. She then joined a retained search firm where she specialized in manufacturing-related vacancies including plant leadership, engineering, supply chain, quality, HR, and sales/marketing. Her 15 years of recruiting experience has focused on several industries in addition to manufacturing, including semiconductors, construction, logistics, building materials, energy, and oil & gas.

She has recruited for Fortune 500 companies such as BASF, MGM Grand, and Intel. She also brings a background supporting recruiting efforts for engineering giants like FMC, SPX Flow, and Wolfspeed/Cree. Her recruitment network extends into companies like Nvidia, Applied Materials, Broadcom, and MACOM.

Tracey started her own recruiting company, Lead Dog Recruiting, in July 2020. It is a veteran and woman-owned business that grows mainly from repeat and referral business. She holds a Bachelor’s in Industrial Relations from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and a Master’s in Human Resource Management from Webster University. She gained her SPHR certification in 2001.
