Soundside Partners is seeking a part-time Business & Data Analyst to support confidential compliance, operational, and business process review engagements for clients in advanced technology and semiconductor-related industries. The Business & Data Analyst will support document review, control testing, data analysis, report development, and other analytical activities required by Soundside’s engagement teams.
This role is well-suited for an analyst with strong attention to detail and the ability to work in high visibility client environments. The Analyst will work closely with Soundside leadership, program-management resources, technical advisors, data and cybersecurity resources, and other team members.

Core Responsibilities

Support review of data related to business practices, customer information handling, operational commitments, and quality performance

Support collection, review, and tracking of compliance evidence

Perform quality checks on data and supporting materials

Assist with meeting notes, follow-up tracking, and synthesis of key findings

Support creation of executive-ready reports and presentations
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, or a related field

Strong analytical skills and comfort working with structured data, documents, and reporting materials

Strong attention to detail, organization, accuracy, and follow-through

Strong written communication skills and ability to summarize findings clearly and professionally

Ability to work independently in a virtual, fast-moving consulting environment
Work Location
This is a part-time, independent contractor role (est. 10-20 hrs/wk) with a flexible schedule. Workload is expected to vary based on client activity. The Business & Data Analyst may work remotely from any suitable location with adequate connectivity. Occasional domestic travel may be required for meetings, site visits, or other engagement-related activities.
