Soundside Partners is seeking a part-time Program Manager to support confidential technical, compliance, and business process review engagements for clients in advanced technology and semiconductor-related industries. The Program Manager will help manage the operating cadence of Soundside’s engagement team, coordinate evidence collection and workstreams, maintain issue and action trackers, and support preparation of periodic reports, meeting materials, and formal deliverables. This role is ideal for an experienced program manager, consulting project manager, compliance project manager, or reporting lead who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in confidential, high-stakes environments involving multiple stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day program cadence for client engagement activities, including meetings, deliverables, deadlines, and follow-ups

  • Maintain workplans, calendars, action logs, issue trackers, and reporting schedules

  • Support preparation of reports, status updates, meeting agendas, interview summaries, workpapers, and presentation materials

  • Help ensure that reporting materials are accurate, complete, well-organized, and aligned with engagement requirements

  • Identify schedule risks, information gaps, process bottlenecks, and items requiring escalation to Soundside leadership

  • Create templates, processes, and operating practices for Soundside client reporting

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field

  • Experience in program management, consulting delivery, compliance operations, or similar

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to simultaneously manage multiple workstreams and deliverables

  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to help produce professional, executive-ready materials

  • Ability to work independently in a virtual, entrepreneurial consulting environment

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, defense, or regulated industries

  • Experience building dashboards, trackers, templates, and corporate project management systems

  • Experience supporting compliance programs, audits, regulatory submissions, or government-facing reporting

 

Work Location

This is a part-time, independent contractor role (est. 10-20 hrs/wk) with a flexible schedule. Workload is expected to vary based on client activity, with higher time requirements during onboarding, reporting periods, and periodic reviews. The Program Manager may work remotely from any suitable location with adequate connectivity. Occasional domestic travel may be required for meetings, site visits, or other engagement-related activities.
